Both Barbour and John Lewis approached Tribe to provide an intelligent solution, jointly funded by both parties.

EXPERIENCE

Tribe shortlisted a number of recruited candidates, conducting a rigorous first-round interview.

Then followed a face-to-face interview at Barbour HQ, plus a final John Lewis interview and store approval sessions at each of the John Lewis stores.

A core team of Barbour Brand Consultants were selected and trained to work within 10 John Lewis stores, covering a total of 634 in store days between AW14-AW16.

REACTION

Sales of £28,000 in JLP Oxford Street Menswear department alone on one day - Black Friday.

Consistently smashing year-on-year targets every season since AW14.

Excellent feedback on the team’s performance and behaviour in store, and their relationship with consumers, and JLP partners, John Lewis and Barbour, alike - resulting in a continued relationship and increased Brand Warrior bookings each season.
