BRIEF
Amazon wanted to support the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S20 handset, in collaboration with Amazon Treasure Truck who were running a pre-order offer.
Our challenge was to create an exclusive and memorable event that would drive word of mouth and create a buzz around the launch of the new Samsung phone.
EXPERIENCE
We wanted to give attendees the chance to get their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S20 before its release, and let them try out its key functions, such as the camera, in person.
Competition winners and guests were invited to the exclusive event to have the first-look at the new Samsung Galaxy S20 and collect their pre-purchased device from the Amazon Treasure Truck at midnight, after watching an exclusive performance by Ella Eyre.
Attendees were able to take the ultimate photo using the S20 handset, see it on large format screen, and choose to print and send the image to share on their own socials. They could also try out all other functions of the phone with product demonstration areas throughout the venue.
Treasure Truck also surprised four lucky attendees with a pair of headphones on the night.
REACTION
The event was a huge success with extremely positive feedback from all attendees - and a great turnout of hundreds of guests on the night.
